sustainable building — Skilpods on a boat
We love to question things. Doing something because we've always done it that way — or worse, because everyone else is doing it that way — is rarely the optimal choice.
Thoroughly thinking through every step of the process, before you start anything, becomes even more important for projects such as Buurtskap De Tuunen, where we got to build about a hundred new homes. This project is located on the isle of Texel in the Netherlands. Right at the water, just like our own workshop.
The logical question then is: why send hundreds of trucks into the Netherlands, when we can just use boats? This isn't only more sustainable, it also gets you some cool video shots in the process.
